Maxim
Edelman

Maxim founded Teyo Labs to find, fund, and build AI-native ventures. His background combines financial markets, technology, and product leadership — experience he now uses to back founders and build alongside them.

§01 — Background

Maxim's career spans leadership roles at top technology firms including Google and Yahoo, combined with deep expertise in financial markets gained through an MBA from Stanford University and running a UK-based financial advisory firm.

At Google, Maxim led global partnerships teams for nearly a decade, creating go-to-market strategies for new products and negotiating key partnerships that launched and scaled products across regions. His team launched Google Pay in 15 countries, improved advertising products through complex deals with top measurement and attribution partners, and partnered with smart home device manufacturers to enhance Google Assistant. He was recognized as one of the best managers across Google's organization of 50,000+ people.

While leading these global teams, Maxim became deeply interested in artificial intelligence and began studying the field in depth. He later combined his knowledge of AI with his financial markets expertise, leading to the creation of an AI-based algorithmic portfolio.

§02 — Role at Teyo Labs

At Teyo Labs, Maxim leads investment decisions, shapes product vision, and works hands-on with portfolio ventures. He identifies which projects to back, provides technical and strategic guidance, and stays close to the details where they matter.

His time is split between evaluating new opportunities, supporting portfolio companies through critical growth stages, and learning from how AI performs in real-world conditions.
